1. The Pupil is just like the aperture.
2. The smaller the Aperture the more light, the higher the Aperture less light.
3. The lower the aperture the more background blur you will have. IF set higher the whole picture will be sharp and focused

2.There is Auto mode which sets speed and aperture. There is Shutter Priority which is where you set the Shutter Speed and the camera does the rest. Then there is manual where you set both Aperture
and Shutter Speed.
